I think we are always confused about what We want in life? If a Innovative car was to be designed for the masses, so be it, why side line the excellent invention by giving it a price tag? Ford designed the T model for the masses, even Maruti 800 was for the masses. They were aspirational products, not cheap products. Forget about convincing the general public, today, in my house if I even talk of buying a NANO, I am prohibited to do so because of its cheap tag ( and not because it is a inferior car)
I recently did the KalindiKhaal Expedition between 22 May to 6 June 2023. Set at an altitude of 5,947 meters, the Kalindikhal Pass on the base of Kalindi Peak, which is at an elevation of 6,102 meters, and surrounded by several other snow clad mountains is the world’s highest trekkable mountain pass. Kalindi Khal Trek is an extremely challenging expedition-style traverse of the Kalindi Khal Pass in spectacular Garhwal Himalayas connecting Gangotri and Badrinath. The route involves a trek over rough glaciers, rocky scree, and crevassed snowfields. At times we need to rope up and require the use of ice axes and crampons. Kalindi Khal trek takes you halfway round Garhwal from the Bhagirathi Valley to the Alaknanda Valley. The journey en route Kalindi Khal unfolds views of some of the highest and most majestic peaks of the Indian Himalayan range - Shivling at 6,543 m, Meru at 6,630 m, Kedar Dome at 6,808 m, Bhagirathi group at 6,856 m, Nilkantha at 6,5...

A difficult question to answer, what is easy to answer according to me, It is Technology which came first and then Technology dictated the course of Geopolitics and History. Let me explain with examples from Modern History. Industrial age: Industrial age arrived in early nineteenth century. Use of Coal and subsequently Crude Oil lead us to an era of Industrialization especially in Europe. The Geopolitics of Colonization and the subsequent History was the creation of Industrialization. Jet age : With the rise of the Berlin wall in 1944, the world was divided into two. The bipolar world was dominated by the Capitalist and the communist, by NATO and WARSAW, by USA and USSR. This dominance was ...
The Importance of Doing Nothing by Manfred Kets De Vries By giving the brain 'downtime' we can improve mental health and allow ideas to incubate. “Learning without reflection is a waste, reflection without learning is dangerous” - Confucius In today’s networked society we are at risk of becoming victims of information overload. Introspection and reflection have become lost arts as the temptation to ‘just finish this’ or ‘find out that’ is often too great to resist . But working harder is not necessarily working smarter . In fact slacking off and setting aside regular periods of ‘doing nothing’ may be the best thing we can do to induce states of mind that nurture our imagination and improve our mental health. Busyness vs productive occupation Our lives have become defined by busyness. Look around you at the train station, in cafes, out on the street, people are glued to their mobile handset or tablet. But doing nothing has never really been accept...
