Stock story V : Veblen Goods



Veblen Goods
Veblen goods: The goods those become more desirable as they get more expensive.
Named after Thorstein Veblen, a Sociologist who invented the concept in 1899.

Would it not be desirable to buy a company that is the owner of a Veblen Goods Brand.
And that too its is Indian, 
one of the rare instance where an Indian company is the owner rather then the other way round.
This large cap has the potential to be the stock story of the decade.

      Not one but two companys,
      broadly in the same sector.
      One company has products which even in todays recession has a waiting list.
      The other company has an Indian subsidy which is loss making.

    thats too far for me to guess...
    in my surroundings waiting list is either for Honda Activa, Royal enfield or some Mahindra or Walkswagen car... infact there is some waiting for Micromax new phones as well...

#celebrating60s Atmanirbhar 41 kms run. Self supported Run. Nutrition, hydration, illumination and music all carried on back. Thanks K Sanjay Singh for giving company in the last 5 kms, pacing and helping me climb the "wall". I dedicate the Run to Dr Pranesh Patil Gaikwad, senior Anesthetist Ghatkopar, fellow runner, co trekker, and travel buddy, with a prayer.. recover soon dear friend. I continuously prayed for him during the run and could finish the run smoothly. The collective prayer of all will smoothen his recovery.
